This is a song about Son Da One; born on the island of Kauai in Hawaii, moving to Northern CA soon thereafter and returning when he was 10-years-old to Kauai. He left home at 17 and headed to Los Angeles and then Richmond/Oakland, CA area and went 'back again' to Hawaii, only to return a few years later to Humboldt County for 10 years, before finally returning home, back again.
